Investment Funds

In this market segment are traded collective investment securities representing shares or participations in investment funds compliant with the requirements laid down by the Directive of the European Parliament and Council 2009/65/ES but not ETF within the definition set in the Article 4 (1) (46) of the Directive of the European Parliament and Council 2014/65/EU. In this market segment are traded also collective investment securities representing shares or participations in investment funds that are alternative investment funds according to the Directive of the European Parliament and Council 2011/61/EU but not ETF or qualified investors funds with a registered seat in the Czech Republic within a scope of the Article 95 (1) of the Act No. 240/2013 Coll., on Investment Companies and Investment Funds. ETF admitted to trading on the Prague Stock Exchange can be found in the market segment named “ETF”. Collective investment securities representing shares or participations in qualified investor funds with a registered seat in the Czech Republic can be found in the market segment “Qualified Investors Funds”.
